On Monday, February 9, Side A, the debut EP from Red Sky River under the RSR banner, will be available on all major streaming platforms.
This project marks the first official recording collaboration between Matt and me under the Red Sky River name — something we’ve been building toward over the last couple years.
Side A features three songs:
- Time Is a River, Time Is a Road
- The Mountain
- …and Time Machine
These recordings feature Matt Siegel and Steve Wiggins on keys, with me on vocals, bringing these songs to life in a way that hopefully you will enjoy listening to as much as we enjoyed making them.
One thing Matt and I definitely have in common is that we probably like to wax philosophical more than the average person — fair warning — and you will hear that across all three songs.
Each one invites you to consider time, obstacles, and regret from different angles.
How we move through them.
How we carry them in our bodies.
How sometimes we outrun them… and sometimes we don’t.
And here’s the wild part…
It releases on Monday, February 9 — which also happens to be my 44th birthday.
Yes. That’s right.
I’m officially Level 44.
So this year, my birthday wish is simple:
